Sunday I started feeling sick.
Monday I endured through work and called my doctor (I got the on call doctor). She said take sudafed, tylenol, lozenges, etc.
Tuesday I left work after an hour an a half and slept most the day. When I woke up, my doctor's office was closed, so I had my mother in law take me to the urgent care at Granger Medical. There, I was told I have the swine flu. Oh Joy.
So I started on meds that night, and was even given lovely cough syrup that has codine in it. (I asked about 4 times if it was okay to take when pregnant.) I was told the baby will be sleepy like me and stop moving for a few hours when I take it, but it leaves the system quickly. I think my baby is immune to codine, cause she won't stop moving anyway. But at least I've been able to sleep.
Wednesday I called my doctor to move my apointment and come in. They said they Didn't Want Me!! Stay home. Don't infect others. Sleep and take the meds. Don't go into labor. (good one.) Go to the ER if I get worse, call if contractions start.
And they're suppose to call me today (Thursday) with more information.
Be healthy. Wash your hands. The baby and I are going to be just fine :) Watch for any symptoms.

Oh my gosh, Laura, that is crazy. I hope you just sleep, sleep, sleep and get that nasty stuff gone. Not fun to be sick and ready to pop.
Wow! That is crazy! I hope you get feeling better soon!
I'm excited to see baby pictures!!!
Since I can't be there to come see the baby, you need to hurry and put up some pictures. I want to see her.
