Stiches in Toquirville!

Analisa, Kayden and I drove 4 hours down to Toquirville for Olivia's baptism.  She is my Best friend Tami's daughter.  We saw the baptism, and the confirmation... next stop:  INSTACARE!

Kayden and Analisa were hugging eachother to the point that they plowed eachother over.  Kayden went backwards into a chair with Analisa on top going forward into a chair.  She hit hard and split right underneath her lip very deep.

I went for Analisa because of the blood, and another lady got Kayden, both screaming and crying.  We hauled them out to the foyer so they could have their closing song and prayer.

Tami kept Kayden (thank you, thank you!) while Analisa and I drove to Hurricane, 10 minutes away to the Instacare.  She was so brave and cooperative.  It was my first medical incident involving my kids... and away from home, without Quinton, and I had both kids, and pregnant 4 months.. wow, I'm so grateful that it went smoothly.  (The nurse had warned me that with small children, they won't sedate, they usually have to be tied down and its pretty tramatic... yikes)  However, when it came to the stiches, she was good and numb from the medication, and she honestly almost fell asleep while they worked the 4 stiches into her.  Hopefully the scar is hidden well under her lip!

SUCH A BRAVE GIRL!

She's a tough girl! Thanks for coming down for Liv's special day! Hopefully your next visit will be less traumatic! We will be up Sept 7-11 for Gary's second surgery. Maybe we can get together that weekend!?
