Here is the entrance to the metro. There is a whole lot underneath the city of Paris, including the metro, catacombs, sewer, Underground mall, etc. etc. etc.

This Was our trip to Starbucks. To sneak in the use of their toilet. Bathrooms were probably the biggest problem of our trip. Paris is not exactly known for a lot of public restrooms. If you do find a bathroom, it’ll probably cost you a euuro or more to use it. Plan wisely.
