I would drop the kids off at school and go work. Pick them up from school and take them to the house and work. They would help, for a while. Xander was with me all the time, and he was my biggest helper. He was so cute and was very diligent. The other kids would be helpful for 10 minutes, but my little two year old would work for hours.
After we fixed the walls, we painted everything
We tiled at the front and back doors
We tore out everything
Once we got the floors up, we painted them to seal in anything we didn't want coming back up and smelling.
